Partition Logic is a free hard disk partitioning and data management tool. It can create, delete, format, defragment, resize, and move partitions and modify their attributes. It can copy entire hard disks from one to another.

Ranish Partition Manager is a powerful hard disk partitioning tool. It gives users high level of control for running multiple operating systems, such as Linux, Windows 98/XP, FreeDOS, and FreeBSD on a single disk.
Partition Manager can create, copy, and resize primary and extended partitions. It includes command line interface and simulation mode that works with large files so you can safely experiment before working on the real hard drive partition tables.

Pears is a three-pane newsfeed (RSS/RDF/Atom) aggregator which caches downloaded feeds for offline use. It has a clean, uncluttered interface, it's easy to use and works on Windows, Linux and MacOSX. You can extend its functionality with plugins.
RAMpage [ Download Page ] [ Home Page ]
RAMpage is a Windows utility that displays the amount of available memory in the System Tray. It can also free memory; by double clicking the tray icon, by setting a threshold that activates the program automatically, or by having it run automatically when a program exits.
Under some circumstances, freeing memory may improve the stability of Windows 95, and possibly also Windows 98 and ME. In theory, RAMpage shouldn't make any difference on Windows NT, 2000 or XP, though I have had some reports that suggest it helps. If you've had enough of Windows, I'd recommend switching to Linux. I have, and have no regrets. It's cheap, easy and reliable. Distrowatch is a great place to find links and information about the major Linux distributions.
RAMpage is free to use, and the source code is also freely available.

RapidCRC [ Download Page ] [ Home Page ]
RapidCRC is a tool for windows for checking and creating CRC32 and MD5 checksums; this comprises:
- SFV files
- MD5 files
- specialty: direct support for CRC32 in the filename (common for anime releases; for example "MyFile [45DEF3A0].avi")
This helps you to check and ensure that your files are OK and not corrupted.
Goal is to use the fastest available open source (assembly) implementations for this task. Currently these implementations are used in RapidCRC:
- CRC32: i386 assembly implementation (one byte table lookup)
- MD5: OpenSSL MD5 i386 assembly implementation
- MD5: reference implementation from RFC (much slower; available at compile time. Not used in the release version of RapidCRC)
These are currently considered to be the fastest existing implementations(*). If you know of even faster implementations please drop me a note.
